Color in artwork
Color is everywhere. And every day, we’re surrounded by a full spectrum of blues, greens, reds, yellows, and so on. Color is what makes life interesting. And frankly, it just looks cool.
Which is probably why artists love using color in their projects. Picasso was a fan of combining different colors and shapes. And so was Andy Warhol, Leonardo da Vinci, Norman Rockwell, M.C. Escher, etc.

Like any other artists, musicians have been known to use color, too … especially on their album covers. Of course, album artwork might not be considered high art. But it can sometimes get interesting—and really colorful.
For example, check out these four records and see if you notice anything in common … Yep, they’re all celebrating color. Which happens to be a lot more connected to music than some people realize. :)
