I like artists—they seem to be open. And by that, I mean open to nature … open to change … and open to learning. The artists I know are really nice. And most of them think “outside the box,” which is why they’re often on the leading edge of new movements.

I definitely think we musicians could learn something from artists. When it comes to being creative, artists aren’t as traditional … which is probably why they’re so comfortable. After all, people tend to relax when they’re open to new ideas.

Anyway, I think more artists should become musicians. Plus, Color Music already speaks their language. Because artists think visually, their minds are primed for understanding. In fact, watch out … I predict that very soon some of the best music will come from artists.
